WHAT IS DIAGNOSTIC TESTING?
A test used to help figure out what disease or condition a person has based on their signs and symptoms. Diagnostic tests may also be used to help plan treatment, find out how well treatment is working, and make a prognosis. There are many different types of diagnostic tests.
At Anti-Aging & Regenerative Associates, we utilize a series of non-invasive diagnostic tests in order to give Dr. Jason Schottel and his team valuable insight to the health and wellness or their patients. These tests can determine what therapies will be most effective to helping each individual patient obtain their goals.
Our tests range from full 9D body scanning to saliva, and blood analysis. Below you will find the diagnostic tests that are performed at our clinic.
AO Scan
The AO Scan (9D NLB-A) is a completely safe and non-invasive body scan. It presents detailed visual reports of the health status of all the organs, systems, and tissue of the body. Unlike other non-invasive scanners, the AO scan shows great detail and can project the health status out 3-5 years with amazing accuracy.
It works similar to other scanners in principles of electromagnetic signals and ion polarity, but the brilliance here is quite literally in the details. Whereas other analyzers measure the frequency of a certain organ systems or body part at a time, this modality is referred to as “9D” because it scans every layer of each organ, rather than just the singular organ.
When this technology was compared with conventional diagnostic methods of Ultrasound, CT- Scan and MRI, the 9D NLB-A showed to be far more accurate, see the chart below:
Styku Scan
Styku is a revolutionary 3D body scanner for capturing the true shape and measurements of an individual. Styku creates an exact 3D model then extracts hundreds of precise body measurements within seconds. Individuals can view precise waist, hip, bust, thigh measurements, and more with an accuracy of 0.125 inches. Measuring tapes and calipers are prone to human error and are inconvenient. Styku de-skills the measuring process to find key parts of the body and take measurements automatically.
Getting scanned is easy and harmless. Using infrared light, the individual stands on a rotating platform for 30 seconds while a 3D camera captures millions of data points. Styku uses a proprietary 3D feature recognition technology to extract measurements and calculate body composition with less than 2.5% margin of error. With the data collected from the Styku app the physicians at Anti-Aging & Regenerative Associates have the ability to track changes over time for measurements, shape, and body composition. Styku helps the physician accurately assess and motivate by setting fat loss goals, daily activity, and daily caloric deficit. The preciseness of the data collected allows the physician to accurately predict caloric expenditure and maximum calorie consumption to integrate into the patient’s customized medical, nutritional, or exercise programs.
Salvia and Blood
Saliva testing is an extremely reliable method for measuring the hormone activity in the body. With these tests, our medical professionals can identify free, bio-available hormones at work on a cellular level.
Blood testing at our clinic involves a very simple simple procedure and is nearly painless using a single finger prick. Blood Spot Testing has been utilized since the 1960’s. One of the many special advantages to blood testing is that it can identify hormone imbalances related to specific symptoms.
Analysis testing checks the heavy metals present in the body and will provide a valuable picture of the internal environment. From this, a host of metabolic events can be interpreted. The nutritional status can then be viewed graphically to determine the efficiency of the body’s function. An in depth report conducted by Dr. Schottel and his team will include dietary and supplemental recommendations.
Genetic Testing
Genetic testing can be ordered and used to determine genetic predispositions. DNA genetic testing allows doctor and patient to pro-actively recognize the likelihood of health issues.
Nitric Oxide Testing
Nitric Oxide is crucial for optimum health. At our clinic, we screen for Nitric Oxide levels by using a saliva test strip. Nitric Oxide is a molecule that our body produces to help its 50 trillion cells communicate with one another by transmitting signals throughout the body. It helps the body by supporting healthy blood pressure levels, normal and healthy circulation, arterial function, and promoting artery dilation for healthy blood flow.
PH Testing
The pH balance of the body is a crucial to the body’s ability to absorb certain nutrients. When the ability to absorb nutrients in impaired, the internal environment can become vulnerable to a number of symptoms and health issues. As a result of our patients’ pH testing, we recommend dietary or supplement changes to them in order to manage and maintain the proper levels on their own.
